LEADERSHIP

Our mission is embodied in our Prayer for St. James':

Most holy God, source of our vision,
Guide us to embrace the potential of this community
to serve you in new and loving ways.
Direct us in our efforts as we work together
with love for our neighbors.
Help us to welcome and accept all people.
We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.

We invite you to join us... communion

  • September 20 - Oakland Athletics baseball presents Church Community Day! For this special event, tickets for the game are just $20 each if we can gather 25 or more fans! (Tickets would be $24 if less than 25 are ordered.) Because tickets need to be ordered as a group to receive the discount, we need sign-up and payment by no later 12:30 PM on Sunday, August 24. Sign-up is in the parish hall. Cash or checks (made out to St. James’) can be forwarded to Meg Williams or Sylvia Ma. Tickets will be distributed to individuals before the day of the game.

"LET MY PEOPLE GO!" The restrooms in the main sanctuary are being completely renovated. This is long overdue, since they haven't been changed since they were built in the 1950s! Fundraising for this project continues, and we can see how far we've come and how far we have yet to go.
